Well-Spotted 4

 

This week's well-spotted, should perhaps really say, "Well-spotted that man!" because if John, one of Elewana Collection's guides had not spotted this buffalo calf it would surely have died. Indeed, John was taking his own life in his hands given that the buffalo's mother was standing nearby and buffalo parents are not known for their sweet tempers. Positioning the car so that he was out of view, John carefully manoeuvred the calf out of the muddy water, conscious that every time the calf bellowed it might alert the mother to the 'two-legged predator' who was actually saving its life. All's well, that ends well. We will be featuring John in one of our future posts.
