The Loisaba Radar

One of the joys of editing this journal is catching up with everyone's news each morning and being able to read peoples' Facebook pages - with their permission - for the things that bring them joy in their lives. For Haron, his little girl makes him smile every day and no wonder; she's so pretty and bright!

For Peter (Meshami) who works in Security, there is the breathtaking views from his early morning flight above Loisaba checking that everything is peaceful and quiet.

Simon likes to capture community life, here a man digs deep to find water for his camels in the dry river bed.

John and the guides report back on the wildlife that they have spotted. Much more on Jo the Leopard tomorrow -we have some stunning pictures of the cubs.

And for Joseph it is seeing his beloved Bounty becoming closer to his own species every day, and the satisfaction of knowing that he has done a good job even knowing that one day he will have to let go.

This on a day when James is about to talk to Tom about his Masters Degree which starts soon through Kenyatta University, and Kennedy is continuing his studies with Haron, working through assignments which are all about the physical adaptations of horses.

A poignant photo of Joseph
