Kenneth is one of the mechanics at Loisaba, specialising in gear boxes, but he is also the gentleman that grades all of the soil and stone tracks that go around Loisaba, smoothing them out and making the ditches to take away rainwater - when it rains at Loisaba, it really rains!

Kenneth's motto is that 'Work is Work' and he always wants to leave Loisaba a better place than he found it. He is a Kalenjin and was born in Bomet County to the South East of Kenya. After attending Sigor Primary and Secondary Schools, he went to technical college in Bomet for two years to study mechanics. He joined the Nanyuki Automotive Group and trained as a plant operator - hence his dual roles.

He and his wife, Chepkoech got married in 1982 and have eight children, four girls and four boys. At home he farms goats, cows and poultry, and in is spare time at Loisaba he enjoys listening to music - Gospel, Zilizopendwa and Bob Marley.
