A few months ago, Samawati (Swahili for Blue), gave birth to a lovely colt who has been named Al Pacino. Bright chestnut at birth, his early coat has become somewhat moth-eaten revealing a much darker undercoat. His sire, Harvey, is a grey and therefore Al may turn grey too. He follows in the hoof-steps of Ducati and Cappuccino born in previous years.

Harvey came to Loisaba as a semi-feral colt from a neighbouring ranch. He is thought to have some Andalusian blood. He is now domesticated and ridden.
