You might know that Ambrose would never leave the girls and young women out of his plans for the Wildlife Resource Centre. A feminist Samburu, he believes that the women should have the same opportunities as the men and can do anything that they can do - if not more.
Recently he has set up a football team for the girls and they are also coming to the Wildlife Resource Centre for lessons - in this way, all of the young people in the community are being taught the importance of conservation.

Ambrose does not shy away from the more taboo subjects relating particularly to women. His anti-FGM campaign continues and his drive to provide re-usable sanitary products for the girls, enabling them to carry on with their education when they are menstruating rather than hiding away at home.
