PJ, the original male camel must be feeling smug this morning. Being a successful stud is not as easy as it looks and his replacement, Farasi (Horse), has returned to the male camel boma under a cloud of disappointment. He tried, he tried a lot, but he just didn’t succeed in wooing the ladies. Yesterday he returned to his old role as a riding camel, along with his wenzako – Rasta and Kalisinga.

The latest replacement, Bob (Marley) – heaven help us – is being much more successful and no doubt singing “I Wanna Love You” as he parades around the boma. He's grumpier than his predecessors and maybe this will impress the ladies a little more. This makes Tulip and Shillingi, the singing females, two of his Wailers, and hopefully they will be having Marley Babies next year. We are trying to persuade Tom that a video needs to be made of this new Pop Group.
